There is very good reason to get excited now the uni work is finished, I have some shinny new kit, a weekend of coaching ahead and I’m going on holiday on Monday.

Thoughts of last year in Scotland over the Easter holidays circled around in my mind during the long and lonely drive back up North. This year did not disappoint despite the poor water levels.

I arrived and took Warwick University down the Arkaig and onto the Lake for some long over due 2 star assessments.

The Etive was dog low so I decided to played with my shinny new digital SLR and took over 200 pictures!

The main reason for my visit to Scotland was to work on the BCU student safety course aiming to open the door to leadership and safety to next year river leaders. I meet Tom, Max and Adam at a cool cottage which formed the base of operations for the 2 3 day course.
The course went down like a treat with WWSR skills on the Leven and trips to the Garry, Findhorn and Spean to cover personal skills and leadership.

Driving back from Scotland through the night wasn’t much fun as I am now faced with a mountain of university work but I do have a trip to Tessin in the next few weeks, WATCH THIS SPACE!!!
