Just Another Week

Filed under: Boating, Life & Times — chris @ 11:37 am

I have to admit, hearing that some of my mates have been boating mid-week makes me insanely jealous as Warwick University isn’t the white water Mecca I wish it would be. In saying that, living on campus can be most amount of fun ever!

Greg   Claire & Burn!   What you doing?

Flat 26 Tocil, around the back of the Sport centre has seen a normal week pass by, well normal for a uni student.
The flat has outfitted two boats - a G-force & a M Burn, been out to a messy canoe social, attended 2 pool sessions, pulled some moves and got cold at HPP, came down with a case of the Trent trotts afterwards, drive to Betws for the day and hucked some meat, done some work, hung out with other university clubs and finally enjoyed 6 flat evening dinners together. One has a lot to smile about!

413 Races, 13 Universities, 3 Ambulances & just a little Samba

It’s always a special occasion when the countries top university paddlers get together, whether to celebrate a particular river, race downhill or between gates and even polo - this weekend was no exception.

Birmingham where the hosts for Wild Water Racing at the Washburn and the usual shenanigans took place:
