Revision was cancelled for 2hrs yesterday evening after a video message from a friend showing Saxon weir ‘kicking off’. This may not seem like a big deal but for the Midlands this is as good as it gets! Rich came with me and we took some photos!

Pyranha have recently given me one of their new office chairs out of their connect 30 household range to test. It’s super comfortable and makes staying at my desk to revise a joy. Hip support combined with arm rests is genius!
This chair is still in the test stage but expect it out soon!*
*This is a joke, it’s the seat from my Ammo!
The past couple of days I have been out ‘flying the flag’! Last Thursday I was out on the Avon at Rock Mill Weir with some of the hot young local talent from Warwick Sea Scouts (Warwick must be the furthest from the sea than any other town in the country!). The levels were better than I expected and I had a great time bringing ‘rodeo’ to the younger generation.

Thanks to Woodie for the photos
Friday night I was invited to a BBQ hosted by some of the members Leamington Canoe Club, at which I drank some great homemade gin and told many stories from my recent travels.
The weekend was the big demo day at Brookbank Warwickshire, a chance to try out all the boats and decide the right one for you. It was amazingly sunny with a really good, chilled out atmosphere. Chris Eastabrook coaching was running hour long drop in sessions and the stand was promoting next summers destinations.

‘Monkey’ manning the stand!
With all that excitement over, all I have to look forward to is exams, apart from a sneaky little paddle on Tuesday and possibly Wednesday!
