As a general rule all courses run in North Wales, but locations are extremely flexible to those in attendance.
Core White Water – Progressive White Water – Steep Creekin’ – Apline Paddling
Core White Water
You are looking for a new challenge and you want to get into the fast-paced white water action. With an expert coach alongside, you can begin your journey, learning and applying new skills. Over the weekend we will be looking at key concepts, integral to all white water paddling, giving you the best foundations to build on. We will look at dynamic posture & balance, eddy movements & timing, how to make tactical decisions and safety. You should have some experience in a kayak on flat water, skills similar to the BCU 2 star – the award itself is not needed. For even more in-depth coverage of the topics, this course can also be taken in a 5 day format.

Progressive White Water
If you have already done a bit of white water and want to improve you technical ability, understanding or experience this is the place to come. The course will build upon your existing skills, aiming to get you moving smoother, with more sucess in a larger ranges of environments and enjoying the white water around us.

Steep Creekin’
Over the course, we will cover all the aspects relating to steep creeking that you need to know: group dynamics, steep access and safety and personal skills including nailing boofs and hitting flares. Building on your existing knowledge of white water kayaking this course will take you to the next level and give you the confidence to carry on boating in ever more challenging environments.

Alpine Skills
Throughout the months of May, June and July you can still get the top notch kayak coaching you got in the UK but instead in Europe. Italy for steep creeking in May, bigger volume river running high in the French Alps and intermediate skills out in Slovenia in July.
